Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories and love. They are both cookie baker and memory maker. They are also a storyteller and a teacher.
To cherish the bond between Grandparents and Grandchildren, we at SGVP International School celebrated Grandparents Day with great pomp and show. The day commenced with the warm welcoming of grandparents with a traditional tilak ensuring we uphold our cherished Indian customs and values. Further the tiny tots of kindergarten came up with scintillating performances as they danced to the melodious tunes of the song. This was followed by enthralling dance performances by students of Grades I to VIII. The performances by students left the spectators spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. The occasion was also graced by the Executive Director of SGVP International School, Shree Jaydevsinh Sonagara and his family. He addressed the gathering and shared valuable insights on family values. Thereafter a melange of games and activities for grandparents were arranged. They participated zealously in all the games and activities and added a spark to the celebration with their robust participation. Overall, the day was filled with oodles of blessings, happy faces, excitement and cheer as the budding stars of SGVP International School displayed their love and affection for their grandparents.
