A Special Meet and Address by Padma Shri Shahabuddin Rathod Ji”
We were highly elated and privileged to have a special meet and gracious presence of Padma Shri Shahabuddin Rathod Ji on 28th October 2023 in our SGVP Gujarati Lit. Fest 2.0_2023-24. Well known for his being Gujarati scholar, teacher and humorist, he was awarded Padma Shri in the field of literature and education in the year 2020. He was warmly welcomed and felicitated by Ms. Padma Kumar, Principal, SGVP International School.
In his address, Sir shared that Education is not merely about textbooks and examinations; it is a journey of self-discovery, a quest for understanding the world around us. And what better way to embark on this journey than with a smile on our faces? Hearing from him is a testament to the belief that words, whether written or spoken, have the power to inspire, provoke thought, and, of course, tickle our funny bones.
